Pavarian is in Playa’s upscale Zona Dorada—or “Golden Zone” in English. This is where everyone wants to be…where you can fine dine in leafy lush courtyards, shop in a gourmet food market, flick open your laptop in a stylish café, grab pastries in a French bakery…or just a short stroll a few minutes to one of the nicest stretches of beach in Playa and relax at a club on the sand.
Paravian will offer the kind of designer, Instagram-worthy luxury that influencers love to show off to their followers.
When you’re not using your boutique condo in Paravian yourself, it’s the kind of place that they’ll pay top-dollar to stay in.
Then there are the digital nomads. Those hip, work-from-anywhere folk that have been arriving in droves to the Riviera Maya, laptops under their arms and looking for the coolest place around to be their new “office.”
When they see Paravian’s rooftop coworking space, which will have views across the city to the Caribbean waters… They’ll be beating down your door to rent for months-long stretches.
Amenities At Pavarian
Paravian’s rooftop pool is where owners will be able to sit by the pool and look out over Playa. Your view of the night sky and those Caribbean waters is unobstructed.
In the morning you could take a dip in this pool. Maybe make use of the rooftop gym or coworking space. Or you’ll stroll the four minutes from your door to Playa’s white sand beaches.
Owners and guests who want to work on their business or work on themselves while at Pavarian are covered too.
There will be a rooftop business center and it will be fully equipped with ultra-fast internet and every tool you need to stay on top work, even while you’re down in sunny Playa.
Don’t work too long though, there’s a whole city out there waiting for you to have fun in. You can see it from your rooftop view.
What about a light workout with that same stunning view before you hit the town? Paravian’s state-of-the-art rooftop gym will let you burn off those tacos and cocktails in style.
Getting To Pavarian
Flights for Playa del Carmen land at Cancun International Airport. It’s an easy flight from North America. Flights from Miami take just under 2 hours, from New York it takes 4 hours 15 minutes. Los Angeles to Cancun is 4 hours 45 minutes.
Cancun International Airport welcomes direct flights from Miami, Denver, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, Seattle, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Nashville, Milwaukee… as well as Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal…
Then also Buenos Aires, Bogota, Lima, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Panama City…Paris, Madrid, London…
The number of active airlines varies over time. But from 50 to 70 airlines operate from Cancún airport, with around 130 total destinations (about 100 international, mostly from the U.S. and Canada).
Once you land, Playa del Carmen is just a 45 minute drive away, down a smooth and modern highway.
Playa del Carmen
Playa is an incredibly desirably beach city destination. Millions of visitors pour in from all over the globe. They come for the tropical weather, white sand beaches, shopping, dining, incredible nightlife, magical cenote adventures. (Cenotes are the cool-water limestone pools you find all over this part of Mexico.)
Cancun International Airport is 45 minutes away from Playa and set a record in 2022, with more than 30 million passengers arriving. Easy access like that is golden when looking to rent, re-sell, and of course visit yourself when you own here.
Playa is accessible for a weekend from much of the U.S. and Canada. You can leave New York or Toronto or Houston in the morning and be on the beach for lunch.
This is all great for rental income, for making friends and meeting people. It makes for great social and nightlife. And that includes for you, whenever you take the fancy to enjoy your boutique property and everything Playa offers.
Playa is one of the hottest short-term rental markets on the planet. It’s gone from a fishing village to a chic beach city in a couple of decades. In the early 1970s, it was little more than a dock, with ferries running across to the island of Cozumel. Now it’s one of the most in-demand vacation destinations in the world.
But why are all these people coming to Playa?
It’s the combination of stunning beach, walkable low-rise city, and perfect weather. All with so much to do, a different restaurant for every night of the year, a new discovery to be made every day. Kids and families have parks and rides, young party people are well catered for, and 40-plus year olds have fine food and culture.
Playa del Carmen is midway along Mexico’s Riviera Maya with clear waters, palm-studded white sand, and awesome beach clubs. Temperatures remain anchored in the mid-80s F for most of the year.
Playa is a place to live life outdoors, and it’s supremely easy to get around and low-rise too, so you should always have a blue-sky view.
Things To Do Around Playa Del Carmen
Just offshore from Playa lies the world’s second largest reef system. Fishing, diving, boating, and snorkeling are widely available through many guides and tour operators, catering to all skill levels.
On days when the beach isn’t on your schedule, there are modern theaters, malls, and it’s easy to pop to a cool-water cenote, a jungle-shrouded Mayan ruin, or take the ferry to Cozumel island. You could walk straight from your new luxury studio to the dock and make a day of it!
The expat community is huge, active and friendly, with plenty of happy hour gatherings, dinners out, as well as volunteer work, yoga classes, cultural events, organized trips… It doesn’t have to be a party all the time, by any means, though a lot of expats will tell you that with so many dining options they barely ever cook or stay in…Playa’s Golden Zone is your playground and living room…
There’s a hip new restaurant opening this weekend that you want to try—new places are always popping up around you. After all, your condo is in the heart of the action, a few minutes’ walk to not only the beach but also the buzz of Fifth Avenue—Playa del Carmen’s miles-long stretch of dining, cafés, bars and entertainment. You’re never short of a new experience.
Maybe you’ll head to a favorite spot -on Calle 38, where the stylish vibe is laidback and the waiters know your name…and your order. Perhaps you’ll chill out with a refreshing craft beer and a chat with friends at Clube de Cerveza. Or maybe you’ll sip authentic tequila and mezcal at the Mexican cantina, Le Tigre. Or visit any of the other night spots just a short stroll away.
Pavarian will be an oasis of calm surrounded by the bustle and excitement of Playa’s up-and-coming Zona Dorada. It’s hip, it’s happening, it’s the place to be.
