 Getting to Oasis at Playa Caracol

For a long time development leapfrogged Playa Caracol and the road was rough and bumpy. Today it’s so easy to get to and from the city and the rapidly expanding international airport at Tocumen—a true hub of the Americas with flights from all over.

Oasis is set within Playa Caracol, on the nicest beach close to Panama City. The area is known as Panama’s Pacific Riviera, and it’s just 60 to 90 minutes from Panama City depending on traffic.

A new highway reduced travel time with eight glorious lanes in parts, completed as part of a $370-million road-widening project straight down the Pacific Riviera. The smooth new asphalt includes new service stations and a metro line built alongside.

Construction of Panama’s first Margaritaville is well underway at Playa Caracol. There’s a new hotel called Sea Colony under construction, and a retail village is also under construction.

You might book a yoga class by the sea, join a group paddleboarding, or spend the afternoon at the Beach Club where there’s set to be a bowling alley and a golf simulator. The beach is perfect for surfing with consistent waves, and the waters are among the best in the world for yellowfin tuna fishing.

Things to Do Near Playa Caracol

For a break from the beach, you (or your renters) can enjoy hiking trails and swim beneath tropical waterfalls. With outdoor living so easy, and your beach known for the best surfing in Panama, it’s obvious why the developer’s taken inspiration from the world’s most famous beach and surf towns.
