Good news for you about Ipanema.
The final pour of the concrete slab on the ground floor is now complete. The team is working on the lobbies and the parking lot, and pouring concrete for the columns.
The first deliveries are expected mid-2028.
Kiley Herold, International Sales Manager at Grupo Los Pueblos, has just recorded a full construction update from Playa Caracol. You can watch it here:
A landmark address in Costa del Este
Ipanema sits on the last prime waterfront land of its type in Panama City.
Your amenities will include a 50-meter pool, a gym, a bar, a bistro, a waterfront park, and sports courts.
And you are right next to Costa del Este—the 766-acre master-planned district that was designed to attract multinational companies and their staff to Panama. Your renters could commute to work there on an electric scooter.
Costa del Este has everything close at hand. Restaurants, bars, the town center, international schools, modern clinics.
That makes your condo ideal for the professionals working at the multinational companies nearby.
The bigger picture in Panama
Things are moving quickly in the country too.
- Panama welcomed nearly 1.1 million international visitors in the first four months of this year alone. That is up 19.1% on the same period in 2025. The Tourism Authority now expects Panama to close 2026 with around 3.2 million visitors, which would break last year’s record of 3 million.
- Metro Line 3 is 87% complete on the tunnel section beneath the Panama Canal and remains on track to open in 2028.
- And the economy is growing faster than expected. GDP grew 4.8% in the first quarter—well ahead of the IMF’s 3.8% forecast for the full year.
You got in early on the last prime waterfront land of its type in Panama City. As the city keeps growing, that will only become more valuable.
