Ventana del Pacifico is the premier developer in Costa Rica´s South Pacific, where the mountains meet the ocean. In English, their name says, “Window to the Pacific”, which is what they offer through exceptional properties in Ojochal and Chontales; two sought after communities in the Osa, which are part of the prestigious Costa Ballena.
With 3% of the world´s biodiversity and the greatest in Costa Rica, the Osa surrounds their projects with tropical rainforest, national parks, biological reserves, waterfalls, and beautiful beaches.
Building since 1992, VDP has been a leader in Costa Rica’s real estate development and construction for 30 years.

Company History
Coming to Costa Rica in the late 80’s, Founder Sylvaine Pilault was horrified at the condition the previous activities had left behind – the deforestation of large tracts of land, the focus on banana production and wood extraction for the benefit of off-shore entities.
As one of the first companies to establish itself in the residential field in the Osa Peninsula, Ventana del Pacífico committed itself to acting in a sound and pro-active manner; they decided that they would work diligently to remedy the existing environmental and economic situation. They focused on developing employment opportunities and began to form important strategic alliances with the local businesses.
Today, the company and community have grown; and with us many local families, companies and Costa Rican institutions have grown as well. We currently employ hundreds of local staff who receive good wages, a full benefits package, as well as the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Their economy continues to thrive as the alliances built with local businesses have expanded to enable these companies to provide most of the goods and services needed for their business.

Vista De La Montana
