Set on Costa Rica’s dramatic northwest Pacific coast, Azul Paraiso is a sanctuary in the midst of tropical beauty.
Warm weather year-round, beautiful beaches, pristine wilderness, top-notch but low-cost healthcare, welcoming people, active expat communities, modern comforts…this part of Costa Rica has everything you might want, whether you’re moving down permanently or part of the year…or just visiting… or buying an investment property that’s going to be in-demand…
The land is exclusive, peaceful, and set apart…surrounded by natural beauty…with few neighbors close by. And those there are…are high-end villas.
Plans call for all condos to have panoramic views of the ocean below. Thanks to the location on a hillside, the views are unobstructed…just green jungle all the way down to the water below. The vibrant is all around you.
And when you own in Azul Paraiso, you have a huge advantage over those in condos in more ordinary locations. This is thanks to the stand-out amenities like ocean-view infinity pool and fitness center.

You’re close to some of the country’s most beautiful beaches and most popular beach towns like Tamarindo and Playa Hermosa.. And the Liberia International airport, with direct flights to more than a dozen cities in the U.S. and Canada, is just 35 minutes’ drive away.
Natures Beauty Surrounds You In Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a natural wonderland, one of the most biodiverse places on the planet and home to some of Central America’s most beautiful beaches. Famed for its exotic wildlife, eco-friendly attitude, and laid-back vibe, it’s the type of place where you don’t have to travel far to see “wild” areas or exotic wildlife. It’s all around you, wherever you go.
For example, Azul Paraiso is just an hour and thirty minutes drive to Rincon de la Vieja National Park.
This little country, sometimes called the Switzerland of Central America because of its stability and prosperity, has been named the happiest in the world multiple times. And it’s home to a Blue Zone, where people tend to live much longer than average thanks to climate, diet, and lifestyle.
Decades ago, Costa Rica pioneered the concept of eco-tourism, with its focus on activities like zip lining, birdwatching, nature walks, and the like…and the preservation of natural areas.
That concept is still going strong, but today you can also have a truly upscale experience, with golf, spas, high-end restaurants, and the like. Not to mention Costa Rica is a thoroughly modern country with top-notch medical care, reliable high-speed internet, and any other convenience you might need.
In short, you can live the good life in Costa Rica, with clean air, less stress, and fresh foods from the land and sea…while surrounded by thriving, raw natural beauty…with any creature comfort right there when you need it.

The condos themselves will be built of the highest quality, with materials coming from sustainable tropical hardwoods, used in the distinctive “tropical luxury” design.
You’re far from roughing it, in other words.
It’s like you’re set apart from “the action,” so to speak but close enough that you can get in the mix whenever you want to.

These are the type of activities that Costa Rica is famous for and are a huge draw for travelers of all ages.
The Developer
Everything in Azul Paraiso will be top-notch. From the infinity pools and the amenities areas to the condos, it will all be well-constructed and of the finest materials, like tropical hardwoods. These will be truly luxurious condos.
We only need to look at the finished and occupied condos in Azul Paraiso’s first phase to see the care and attention to detail the developer has paid to this community already…and their efforts to keep everything looking fresh and new.
The developer, Garnier & Garnier, is one of Costa Rica’s most well-established. They’ve been in business for 25 years. They bought the land here in 2007/2008. They built the first phase, and then concentrated on other projects around the country.
Over the years, they’ve built office complexes, university campuses, a country club, hotels, and resorts, and, of course, high-end homes and condos.
They also build in and manage some of Costa Rica’s biggest free trade zones, where many of the multinationals set up shop in the country. This is a company with a huge presence in the country.

- Trekking through tropical forest and spotting wildlife…although you won’t always have to go far. Howler monkeys frequent the trees around our opportunity.
- Discovering majestic waterfalls like Llanos de Cortes.
- White water rafting on the Tenorio River.
- Birdwatching. People come from all over the world for this activity in Costa Rica – and it’s in your back yard. You’ll even be able to spot brightly plumed birds from your terrace in Azul Paraiso as the surrounding area is undeveloped jungles.

- Mountain biking through the mountainous terrain.
- Hiking to volcanos – Rincon de la Vieja National Park, it is to see the active volcano housed on the property. The volcano produces steam spouts, hot springs, craters, and mudpots—think of them as “natural” beauty treatments; all of which are very popular visiting and hiking spots for visitors.

Azul Paraiso Amenities

At Azul Paraiso’s planned beach club, just five minutes’ drive down the road, you’ll have even more amenities. There is already beach volleyball and co-working space, along with loungers that you can take onto the beach. It offers private parking and private beach access, which is quite rare in Costa Rica.
Plans call for a pool, restaurant, and fitness center at the beach club. Anything you might need for a fun day at the beach will be right here.
The club will be on a large parcel the developer has right on the nearest beach to Azul Paraiso, Playa Ocotal, which is great for snorkeling and kayaking. You can hire a charter fishing boat there as well—snapper, mahi mahi, and more are abundant just offshore.
The beach club will be a perk you get as an owner in Azul Paraiso—that you can extend to your renters. A benefit like this will sure make your Airbnb listing stand out.
Azul Paraiso’s planned beach club will be just five minutes’ drive away on Playa Ocotal, a slight curve of volcanic sand, with rocky bluffs on either end. This beach is known for some of the best snorkeling in the area—you can see tropical fish right off the beach. You can also standup paddleboard or kayak…or hire a fishing charter to go offshore.
The beach club will have private parking and private access to Playa Ocotal. Plans call for a pool, restaurant, fitness center, and co-working space. There is also a well-regarded restaurant right next door, whimsically called Father Rooster’s, that is within a restored historic seaside hacienda.
